What medical clearinghouse / payer APIs actually cost — and who'll even tell you
Eligibility, claims, ERA, and prior-auth APIs (Availity, Optum/Change Healthcare, Waystar, TriZetto, pVerify, Stedi, Office Ally, Claim.MD) compared on what they do, what they're known to cost, and what it takes to get access. Every number is dated and tagged by how trustworthy it is. Where there's no public price, we say so — that opacity is the whole problem.

This directory exists because most of this landscape is the third case. A small developer on r/healthIT put it plainly: they "won't pursue if it's $5000" — but they can't even find out. We map who is transparent (Stedi, Claim.MD, Office Ally) and who isn't (Availity, Optum, Waystar).

Independent transparency directory. Pricing and access details are compiled from public vendor pages and practitioner reports and are dated and confidence-tagged — published = vendor's own public page, reported = third-party/forum estimate, no public price = none found. We do not invent numbers. Last verified 2026-06-22. Not affiliated with any vendor; verify current terms directly before contracting. Some outbound links may be referral links.
